Mouse Settings
Basic commands:
+mlook - allows you to raise the crosshair up, down
m_filter - allows you to enable "smoothing" of mouse movement (for ball mice)
m_forward - sets the sensitivity multiplier of forward
speed m_pitch - sets the sensitivity coefficient of the mouse when moving down and up, with negative values we get invert
m_side - sets the mouse strafe speed (e.g. when the +strafe command is enabled)
m_yaw - sets the mouse sensitivity factor when moving left, right
cl_mousegrab - at 0, the mouse will not be captured in windowed mode (works only on Linux). Values: 0 and 1.
m_rawinput is a variable that takes a value of 0 or 1. If the value is 1, it allows you to use the input device (mouse) bypassing the OS
settings In order to determine which settings are more convenient for you, do the following:
Don't forget about the sensitivity of the mouse!
Open the console (key "E") and type the command "sensitivity value", where the "value" is numbers from 0.1 to 20.
Optimal values: from 1.5 to 5 (depending on your mouse settings)
Now go to the game folder and copy the new values from the "config.cfg" file to your own.
Folder Location:
Disk (on which the game is installed) - Program Files - Steam - steamapps - common - Half-Life - cstrike
Here are some more commands for setting up the mouse:
m_customaccel - basic acceleration setting: can take values of 0, 1, 2 and 3. If the value is 0, acceleration is disabled.
m_customaccel_exponent is the limit of the acceleration parameter. Values from 0 to 6 are used.
m_customaccel_max is the limit for the maximum mouse acceleration value, with a value of 0 there is no limit.
m_customaccel_scale is a variable for calculating acceleration using the formula.
m_mousethread_sleep is the mouse polling interval in ms
If m_mousethread_sleep is 1, then the mouse polling interval is 1 ms (frequency - 1000 Hz), 2 = 500 Hz or 2 ms, 10 = 125 Hz or 10 ms, and the value 0 = the maximum possible frequency in Hertz.
zoom_sensitivity_ratio - mouse sensitivity with zoom lookspring
- enables automatic centering of the view when "mook" is off lookstrafe - enables movement offset mode when "mlook"
is on

settings In order to determine which settings are more convenient for you, do the following:
- Go to the folder with the game (.../cstrike)
- Delete absolutely all notebooks or transfer them to the desktop (do not forget to rename them so as not to get confused: your config and "userconfig" are different notebooks)
- Enter the game on any server
- Wait a few (10-15) seconds for the game to automatically set convenient values that you can copy and paste into your notebook with the config in the future.
